Are you a talented 3D artist who wants to work in the unique and classic style of one of the most beloved MMORPGs in gaming history?
As a Game Artist on OSRS, you will contribute across a broad range of visual elements on the game, filling a generalist position, giving you the opportunity to grow your experience across multiple different disciplines within the art team.
You’ll create characters, props, outfits, weapons, concept art & illustrations, even working with animation to deliver high quality work across multiple art functions in the team.
This is a role that will have significant impact on the productivity of the team, and is an opportunity for an artist with an adaptable and versatile skillset to flex their creative muscles across a variety of different avenues.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create and implement stylised 3D assets that match the art and creative direction of Old School RuneScape.
- Build detailed environments and set pieces that bring Gielinor to life.
- Own projects from concept to integration, ensuring all artwork is delivered to studio quality.
- Work closely with senior artists and Associate Art Director to define visual standards and maintain consistency.
- Use clean workflows and maintain optimal topology, ensuring all assets are animation-ready and technically sound.
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver a polished, immersive game experience.
- Provide and receive feedback with openness and professionalism, always aiming to refine and elevate the final result.
- Ensure players have a great experience – visually and interactively – within the world of Old School RuneScape.
What we’re looking for:
- Professional experience in 3D modelling for video games.
- A strong portfolio of work showcasing a versatile skillset across multiple 3D assets.
- Strong working knowledge of Maya or Blender.
- An enthusiasm for stylised game art and retro aesthetics.
- A strong artistic foundation, with demonstrable skills in crafting stylised environments and props.
- A collaborative mindset with demonstrable experience working effectively within a team of artists, designers, and developers.
