Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant to support a busy residential property team. The successful candidate will assist with the progression of property transactions, preparing legal documentation, managing client communications and ensuring matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residential property transactions: prepare documentation, manage client correspondence, and maintain accurate files.
- Draft contracts and transfer documents, request and review searches, and liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors.
- Assist with exchange and completion processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and firm procedures.
- Manage key dates and provide proactive administrative support to keep matters progressing efficiently
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Strong experience in conveyancing support from file opening to completion.
- Excellent client care and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
- Solid organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple matters, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in preparing documents, maintaining records, and following compliance procedures.
- Familiarity with legal case management systems (e.g. Redbrick) and MS Office.
- Paralegal qualification preferred or equivalent practical experience in conveyancing at a senior support level.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a supportive working environment.
