Our client is looking for a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to support their small team with day-to-day financial tasks. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity offering flexibility, autonomy and the chance to make a real impact in a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly profit and loss statements
  • Manage online payments and reconciliations
  • Carry out credit control and debt chasing
  • Process PAYE and VAT payments
  • Issue and send out client invoices
  • Reconcile petty cash statements
  • Calculate commission payments
  • Monthly report compilation.
  • Ensure Suppliers paid in a timely fashion
  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting as needed
  • Use Sage 50 in the first instance, with potential to transition to Xero

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Confident using Sage 50, Excel, and ideally Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • A proactive team player who is happy working independently
  • Available to work approx. 2 hours per day across the working week

This is a remote role, but occasional travel to Godalming may be required.
