Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the smooth running of their busy office in Guildford. This role is vital to ensuring operational efficiency and providing key administrative support across teams. The ideal candidate will be a confident multitasker with excellent communication skills and experience managing office processes, facilities, and staff coordination.Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office operations including reception, supplies, and equipment maintenanceCoordinate and support administrative staff and liaise with external service providersOversee facilities management, including health & safety compliance and office environment upkeepManage office budgets, expenses, and procurement activitiesOrganise meetings, events, and travel arrangements for staff and visitorsSupport HR functions such as onboarding, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with payroll coordinationImplement and improve office systems and procedures to enhance efficiencyAct as primary point of contact for building management and contractorsEnsure compliance with company policies and legal regulationsAssist with ad hoc projects and provide support to senior management as requiredSkills & Experience Required Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative/operations roleStrong organisational and multitasking abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompetent in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management softwareExperience managing budgets and procurement processesKnowledge of health & safety regulations and experience ensuring complianceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive problem solver with attention to detailDiscretion and professionalism when handling confidential informationFree ParkingPension scheme and healthcare benefitsFriendly and supportive working environmentOpportunities for professional development and trainingWould you like to discuss this job further?
