An established and highly regarded London-based legal practice is seeking a confident and proactive Legal PA to support their busy team. This is a fast-paced, transaction-heavy role where no two days look the same, perfect for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys being right at the heart of the action.
You\’ll be supporting a team of around 6–7 fee earners , acting as a true right-hand person and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
The RoleThis team works to tight deadlines and often deals with last-minute changes, so strong organisation, initiative and calmness under pressure are key. You\’ll be trusted to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and provide seamless support across a varied workload.
Key Responsibilities
Managing complex and ever-changing diaries with confidence
Building a strong understanding of fee earners\’ matters to provide proactive, anticipatory support
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
Opening new matters, onboarding clients, and preparing engagement documentation
Handling AML and new matter checks, including gathering and reviewing documentation
Coordinating day-to-day admin such as travel, expenses, inbox monitoring, meetings, time recording, post and ad-hoc research
Preparing bills and drafting clear, accurate bill narratives
Supporting client initiatives and business development activities where required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary within a law firm is essential
Exceptionally organised, proactive and adaptable with a strong team-focused mindset
Experience supporting client events or BD initiatives is highly desirable
Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous
