Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their busy team providing essential support to staff. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, data-driven and keen to develop their administrative career within a professional and collaborative environment.

As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the team through a variety of administrative and organisational tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the billing process, including generating reports, billing guides, and tracking invoices
- Managing and maintaining file systems, including e-filing and archiving
- Scanning, photocopying, and handling confidential documentation
- Assisting with file openings, inputting client and party details, and preparing engagement letters
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, including the collation of enclosures
- Booking couriers and handling document distribution
- Supporting with document storage and archiving
- Learning and using internal systems and databases efficiently
- Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the team
- Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A*-C, including Maths and English
- Previous administrative experience in a professional environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written English and grammar skills
- Ability to learn new systems and processes independently
- Previous work experience in a law firm is desirable
- Eager to learn and proactive in taking initiative
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with data, with good numerical and formatting accuracy
- Confident user of Excel (formulas, formatting, and basic tools)
- Strong communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude
- Reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable in a busy office setting
