Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function and overseeing financial operations.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Monitoring budgets, forecasts and cash flow to support business planning.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Producing financial analysis and reports to support senior management decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, policies and procedures.
- Managing payroll, VAT returns and other statutory requirements where required.
- Liaising with external accountants, auditors and financial advisors.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
- Supporting senior leadership with budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning activities.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar finance role.
- Part-qualified, qualified or qualified by experience (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proactive and commercial mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members would be advantageous.
