2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.
This fast-paced, hands-on leadership role will give you the opportunity to guide and oversee the provision of safe, efficient, and compliant operations that directly support patient care and staff experience. Looking after a diverse portfolio including Catering, Domestic Services, Portering, Security and Service Desk operations, this is an opportunity to make a positive impact in a role that combines leadership, service excellence and operational delivery in a busy and complex healthcare environment.
You’ll be highly visible within the operation, building strong relationships across all levels, motivating teams through a hands-on approach and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities will also include:
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, infection prevention and control standards, statutory regulations and healthcare compliance requirements, including supporting CQC inspections and audits.
- Monitor operational performance, staffing levels and service delivery standards, taking proactive action to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage operational budgets, identify efficiencies and support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
- Lead recruitment, performance management, training and staff development activities to build capable and motivated teams.
- Produce operational reports, compliance documentation and performance data for senior management and stakeholders.
- Take ownership of operational decision-making, including responding to urgent and out-of-hours issues when required.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading large, multi-disciplinary facilities teams, with strong operational and financial management skills. Experience within healthcare, FM or complex multi-site environments is essential, ideally with knowledge of BICS and relevant cleaning standards. They will have excellent people leadership and stakeholder management abilities, and knowledge of Health & Safety, infection prevention and compliance standards.
