We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join a growing and fast‑paced business based in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career within purchasing and supply chain operations.

Working closely with the procurement and operations teams, you will play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day purchasing function, ensuring materials, products and supplies are ordered efficiently and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raising and processing purchase orders
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times and deliveries
  • Monitoring stock levels and supporting inventory management
  • Chasing outstanding orders and updating internal systems
  • Supporting invoice queries and supplier documentation
  • Maintaining accurate purchasing records and databases
  • Assisting with general administration within the procurement department
  • Working closely with warehouse, finance and operations teams
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous administration or purchasing experience preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
