2fawcett Infrastructure have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor working for a leading contractor in the highways sector. The position will be predominantly on site, with the majority of work being at nightshift.

The Role

  • Assist with managing and maintaining the Integrated Management System and associated ISO accreditations [9001, 14001 and 45001]
  • Write clear and concise reports, procedures, and guidance documents.
  • Reviewing RAMS
  • Liaising with Site Management
  • Co-operate and implement company and individual HSW targets and objectives.
  • Undertaking Site Inspections – These will be predominantly at night time.
  • Liaising with Site Teams
  • Performing thorough investigations to offer root cause analysis and conclusions for all accidents, incidents and high potential near-misses.

Candidate Requirements

  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent [desired]
  • IOSH Managing Safely (Minimum)
  • Construction/Highways experience [preferred but not essential]
  • Highway’s experience [preferred but not essential]
  • Understanding of MS Office Suite
  • Good communicator with external and internal stakeholders
  • Desire to learn and implement sector specific knowledge.
  • Willing to work night shift.
  • Full driving licence
  • Undertake Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • Undertake safety critical medical.
  • CSCS – Desirable.
