2fawcett Infrastructure have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor working for a leading contractor in the highways sector. The position will be predominantly on site, with the majority of work being at nightshift.
The Role
- Assist with managing and maintaining the Integrated Management System and associated ISO accreditations [9001, 14001 and 45001]
- Write clear and concise reports, procedures, and guidance documents.
- Reviewing RAMS
- Liaising with Site Management
- Co-operate and implement company and individual HSW targets and objectives.
- Undertaking Site Inspections – These will be predominantly at night time.
- Liaising with Site Teams
- Performing thorough investigations to offer root cause analysis and conclusions for all accidents, incidents and high potential near-misses.
Candidate Requirements
- NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent [desired]
- IOSH Managing Safely (Minimum)
- Construction/Highways experience [preferred but not essential]
- Highway’s experience [preferred but not essential]
- Understanding of MS Office Suite
- Good communicator with external and internal stakeholders
- Desire to learn and implement sector specific knowledge.
- Willing to work night shift.
- Full driving licence
- Undertake Drug & Alcohol testing.
- Undertake safety critical medical.
- CSCS – Desirable.
