We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Tier One provider within the highway sector, who are looking to appoint a Head of Social Value & Sustainability to join their growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in social value, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement, looking to take ownership of strategy and make a tangible impact across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the Social Value & Sustainability strategy
  • Deliver social value commitments across all projects
  • Support and develop Social Value Champions
  • Embed social value, EDI, and corporate responsibility culture
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Work closely with client teams across customer, environment, and EDI

About You:

  • Proven social value & sustainability experience (construction/infrastructure ideal)
  • Strong knowledge of EDI, CSR & community engagement
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder skills
  • Skilled in reports, tenders & data presentation
  • Highly organised; able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
