We are seeking a full-time B1.1/C Certifying Engineer to join our dedicated Capability Development Team in Doncaster.

The Role

As a B1 Base Certifying Engineer, you will take ownership of the completion and certification of assigned maintenance work packages. Reporting to the Maintenance Support Manager, you will ensure all work is performed to the highest regulatory and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Certify B1 Base and Modification work on King Air 200 and 300 aircraft
  • Lead and supervise non-licensed engineers and technicians
  • Carry out and certify mechanical/electrical component removals and installations
  • Ensure compliance with MOE processes, procedures, ADs, SBs, and all required documentation
  • Identify and report inaccuracies or gaps within maintenance data
  • Provide continuous improvement feedback to the Head of Maintenance
  • Support the development of junior engineers through day-to-day oversight and appraisal input
  • Contribute actively to the Safety Management System and wider aviation safety culture
  • Support delivery of the 2Excel Group strategic plan

What You Bring

  • An unrestricted UK CAA Part-66 B1 Licence (C rating desirable)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead calmly and professionally

  • A team-player mindset with the confidence to challenge, suggest improvements, and uphold engineering excellence
