Overview
We are seeking a full time Maintenance Planning Officer to join our friendly Continuing Airworthiness Management office (CAMO). We are looking for an individual who will be an essential part of a highly dedicated and self-motivated team. You will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all aircraft is carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance program.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
Based at Doncaster and reporting to the Technical Records Manager, the Maintenance Planning Officers key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Produce and update the CAMO Fleet Maintenance Planner.
- Run regular maintenance forecasts to capture tasks due and ensure planned accordingly.
- In liaison with Maintenance Control and Fleet Support Engineers ensure suitable slots arranged for planned inputs.
- In conjunction with Fleet Support Engineers plan work scopes for maintenance inputs.
- Identify and order/request material and spares requirements for planned inputs including modification kits for AD/SBs and Engineering Orders.
- Produce work packs for agreed work scopes ensuring timely advance provision in line with maintenance contracts.
- Forecast Scheduled and Out of Phase spares requirement for fleet, understand lead times and ensure orders requested in advance to meet planned replacement.
- Track and monitor spares requirements to ensure in place prior to input.
- Attend Pre-Input meetings to detail maintenance and spares requirements and arrangements made.
- To be able to obtain Security Clearance (SC) / Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) reference.
To be successful, experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given. We are looking for individuals who can communicate at all levels, work effectively with all personnel and possess excellent IT skills.
