Day-to-Day Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of Ground Support Equipment, including tugs, tow tractors, ground power units, de-icing trucks, and other airport machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure equipment is operational and safe.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential problems before they affect operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of work orders and effective communication regarding equipment status.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on the latest industry standards, equipment technologies, and best practices.
