Reporting to the Head of Airworthiness, the DOA Technical Coordinator is a post which resides in the Design Organisation. The role is to support the maintenance and administration of the various approvals held by the design organisation for the design changes/repairs it undertakes.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the design change register, especially for permits to fly and SDRs
- Status chasing of SDRs and audit findings
- Arranging permit-to-fly payments
- Drafting for review by the Office of Airworthiness:
- staff authorisations, competence assessments
- administrative amendments to the DOH and other manuals
- template updates
- DOA/POA, DOA/MOA, DOA/CAMO arrangements
- Staff authorisations
- Arrangements
Requirements / Skills
- Very well organised and methodical.
- Experience in other administrative roles.
- Excellent skills at Microsoft Word including use of styles, cross referencing and bookmarks.
- Desirable β experience in an aviation environment.
