Position Type: Full-time Role
We are now looking to appoint an additional B1 Licensed Engineer to our team. Reporting to the Check Manager and Shift Manager, this role is offered across a 5.5.4 shift pattern. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment in the aviation industry.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance in accordance with Company procedures and the regulations of the appropriate regulatory authority for the aircraft which you are working on.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of aircraft types, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, in accordance with approved data and regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to identify and rectify defects in aircraft systems, avionics, and components.
- Carry out aircraft certification and release to service activities as a B1 Licensed Engineer, ensuring all work is completed to the required standards and documentation is accurately maintained.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and support staff to achieve efficient workflow and minimise downtime for aircraft.
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, procedures, and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance within the team.
Successful applicants will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Hold a valid CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with at least one relevant type rating: B727, B737(CL or NG), B757, A320, BE200 or BE300.
- Capable of commanding respect amongst direct staff, peers, management and third party customers.
- Ability to effectively manage personnel through excellent leadership skills.
- Confidence to deal with quality and/or performance issues of reports.
- Demonstrable experience within a Base Maintenance environment.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence others.
