We’re now looking to appoint a Project Manager to join our friendly CAMO team based out of our site in Doncaster.
As CAMO Project Manager you will lead the team that look after technical and airworthiness elements of aircraft fleet acquisitions including the introductions and disposals and also major modification programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Line management of the project team including competency, training, development, and output standards.
- Oversight and management of allocated CAMO/Fleet Airworthiness Projects which may form integral parts of higher level projects.
- Co-ordinate and communicate with CAM and FSM to ensure full alignment of projects to airworthiness development, policy and procedures.
- Create project plans, define task requirements, identify DAREOCIG, timelines, deadlines and critical paths.
- Identify, secure and manage the required resources in order to deliver the project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, implement changes as required to ensure its successful completion.
- Understand the project budget, manage resources accordingly and monitor/report financial performance against the plan.
- Establish communication schedule to update stakeholders on project progress.
- Technical inputs to commercial opportunities, tenders and bids.
- Liaison with financiers and lessors during acquisitions and disposals to ensure technical requirements and obligations met.
- Support the implementation of aircraft fleet, development, upgrade and renewal programmes.
- Support the project team with task completion as necessary.
- Ensuring that their area of responsibility is audit ready at all times.
- Compliance with all 2Excel Group Policies and Procedures.
- Promoting Just Culture, Compliance and Care Culture within their team.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in aviation continuing airworthiness/CAMO discipline.
- In Depth Knowledge of Part M/Part CAMO/Part 145 and Part 21.
- Project management skills and experience.
- Demonstrable leadership and people management skills and experience.
