We are seeking an CAMO Project Engineer to join its friendly Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) based at Doncaster Airport.

Travel to other 2Excel and/or supplier sites may be required.

Candidates should have demonstrable knowledge and experience working in a CAMO, Airworthiness or Technical Support related role as well as strong IT and communication skills.

This role, whilst based at Doncaster, offers a hybrid mixture of working at home, in the office and off-site in support projects as required.

Reporting to the CAMO Project Manager, the CAMO Project Engineer’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the various survey and service introduction requirements for any aircraft acquisitions into the fleet.
  • Supporting the export/import requirements aircraft acquisitions including the work scope planning for bridging maintenance inputs.
  • Support to aircraft surveys including the composition of aircraft survey reports.
  • Technical support for aircraft modification programmes including the liaison with both Design and Maintenance Organisations.
  • Support to the Management of Change process.
  • Development of existing and introduction of new software/systems to support CAMO processes.
  • Oversight of maintenance requirements throughout modification programmes.
  • Management and control of modification documentation, data and drawings for both prototype and approved data.
  • Review, assess and process incoming airworthiness data (mandatory and non-mandatory), such as AD, SB and ICA etc in line with airworthiness procedures.
  • Review and update procedures and controlled forms as required to support new or revised aircraft requirements.

Candidates must have a strong understanding and knowledge of Part M/Part CAMO, Part 145 and Part 21 regulations.

Experience and involvement with significant aircraft modification programmes is highly desirable.

In addition, a full UK driving license is required.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the Right to Work in the UK.

Applicants must also be able to successfully pass a company sponsored Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) and/or Security Check (SC) Clearance.
