About the role
We are seeking a Fleet Support Officer to join us at our site in Doncaster on a permanent basis.
This role would suit someone who has a keen interest in aviation and wants to develop a strong career in continuing airworthiness/fleet management.

The role’s key responsibilities will include but not be limited to
- Assist Fleet Support Engineer (FSE) with long term maintenance planning and identification of spares and mod kit requirements.
- Liaise with spares providers ensuring timely provision of spares and modification kits prior to base maintenance inputs.
- Support FSE with management and tracking of spares provision, component repairs and stock holding for fleet.
- Co-ordination and liaison between the MRO, Logistics and Spares Providers during the input to facilitate the planned check schedule.
- Review of maintenance and aircraft documentation during input and prior to release to service.
- Support answering any technical queries from MRO.
- Raise customer requests as required.
- Support collation of documentation for safety investigations and/or compliance findings.
- Create and update maintenance statements.
- Carry out aircraft documents checks, including the update of onboard documentation.
- Support review/allocation/approval of aircraft and component maintenance invoices.
- Successful applicants will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Keen and willing to learn
- Proactive ability to use initiative
- Strong IT skills – MS 365 suite
- Interest in aviation and/or maintenance/engineering
- Good communicator – talking on phone and Teams
- Comfortable locating people in facility to find out information/resolve queries
