We are seeking a B737 Crewing and Support Officer, reporting to the Programme and Crew Manager, to work within an excellent and diverse team. The role will be responsible for the long term and day to day management of the B737 Charter Fleet Flight and Cabin Crew rosters, ensuring effective communication and promoting teamwork across the charter department.
We are seeking candidates who are looking for a varied and exciting role within aviation, who enjoy meeting new people and who strive to build effective working relationships, within a close team. Whilst this role will be supported by the centralised crewing function, this role goes beyond that of a traditional roster planner, requiring the successful candidate to negotiate effectively with crews to ensure roster additions and amendments can be supported. Due to the unique nature of our operation, the B737 Crewing and Support Officer will be offered the opportunity to flight ride, promoting a greater understanding of our B737 charter operation and offering the opportunity to build rapport with our operating crews. The role is ideally suited to an ex-crew member, looking for a more stable working pattern in an office environment, but still has the passion for aviation, travelling and meeting new people.
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Previous experience of working within a charter airline, with knowledge of UK CAA flight time limitations a significant advantage, but not essential.
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to quickly learn and operate 2Excel’s company rostering software system.
- Be an excellent team player, with a warm and friendly approach.
- Outstanding communication skills with a passion to provide our crews with a fair and workable roster, working closely with multiple teams including charter planning, operations and 737 sales.
- Organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic working environment, managing changes on a daily basis.
- Focus driven, motivated and be passionate about the company and its core values.
