Company: Based at Lasham Airfield in north Hampshire, 2Excel Engineering is a relevant and respected Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) focused on Boeing and Airbus narrow-bodied aircraft, serving the growing maintenance needs of the commercial airline industry alongside providing critical engineering expertise to the 2Excel Group.
Overview: We are currently seeking our next generation of Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Technicians at 2EE to join us from September 2026. The successful candidates will begin their learning journey inspecting, repairing, and modifying mechanical, avionic and electrical aircraft components and systems, while receiving mentorship from the industry’s best modification and heavy maintenance engineers and mechanics. Reporting to the Training Manager, the Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Technician will learn, while contributing within the business, to gain a Level 2 Diploma in Aerospace and Aviation Engineering (Foundation Competence) and a Level 3 Diploma in Aerospace and Aviation Engineering (Development Competence) over a 3-year (36-month) apprenticeship programme.

- Be able to demonstrate a desire and willingness to learn
- Good interpersonal, communication and people skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with PC use for college work and aircraft maintenance
- Some initial engineering hand skills would be beneficial
Education experience:
- At least 1 year college experience within engineering or 1 year work experience within engineering
- GCSE’s English, Maths and science grade 4

The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, including 2 days a week in college.
