We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stores Supervisor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our operations and be a part of a dynamic team in the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities:- Effective leadership and day-to-day supervision of Stores Personnel across multiple locations.
- Goods In Receiving, ensuring received items are not damaged, are compliant with the relevant purchase order, and supporting documentation is correct.
- Received items are electronically inducted into the store's software in line with the company procedures.
- Ensuring paperwork for the traceability of the stock is maintained, scanned and correctly controlled.
- Manning of parts issuance and tool store counters.
- Liaising with the procurement when incoming part certification paperwork queries arise.
- Good Out dispatch, ensuring items are correctly packaged and, where necessary, ensuring they follow dangerous goods regulations and liaising with the procurement team to arrange the shipment.
- Actively lead the creation and development of Bonded and Tool Store working processes/procedures and training materials.
- Supervising the Tool Stores calibration control using the stores software and liaising with third-party calibration service vendors.
- Assist the Line Manager in the annual appraisals of the Stores Team.
- Stores background, preferably within aviation/aerospace, with experience of working within a bonded store.
- Experience of working within a Part 145 MRO or Part 21G Stores is desirable, along with sound knowledge of aviation regulations relevant to the role.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail.
- Good communicator with a polite and courteous manner.
- IT literate, preferably with experience in MRO software systems.
- Able to work as a team.
- Able to work under pressure within deadlines.
