We are seeking experienced Vehicle Mechanics to work in Cyprus. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and carrying out major repairs on commercial buses and heavy vehicles while ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns accurately and complete repairs efficiently
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on commercial buses
- Carry out major repairs and component replacements including engines, gearboxes, and drivetrain parts
- Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with ISO standards and local government safety regulations
- Maintain accurate service records and follow workshop procedures
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
Requirements
Education & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- ITI or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience will be considered
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional workshop environment
- Hands-on experience with heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks
- Proven experience in engine and gearbox replacement procedures
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Candidates who have abroad work experience are preferred.
Language Requirement
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
