The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Your new role involves supporting live productions for TNT Sports and Discovery/Eurosport, including football, cricket, rugby and cycling. You will provide engineering tier 2 support for studios, production and post‑production, working closely with Tier 1 teams in Chiswick and Paris as well as Tier 2 and Tier 3 (COE) teams.

Location & Working Hours: Based in Stockley Park, London. The role follows a shift‑based pattern that includes weekends and occasional nights. Some work on other sites, particularly Chiswick Park, will be required. This role is advertised as onsite – all working hours and days will be carried out at the place of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure delivery of all engineering requirements alongside other engineering teams.
  • Work with Production to ensure the smooth running of live events.
  • Implement ticketing through to resolution, carry out repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist with team projects and the Projects team with large scale work.
  • Maintain and update shared technical documentation, practising good communication.
  • Support Management and Lead Broadcast Engineers as required.
  • Respond to stakeholders in a positive, friendly and proactive manner.
  • Follow health & safety culture, with relevant maintenance and safe operating practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the production engineering environment and broadcast chain.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills and the ability to fault‑find from first principles.
  • Experience in high‑pressure, time‑critical broadcast production environments.
  • Extensive broadcast technical background (IP video 2110, AES 67, NMOS, UHD & HD video, HDR & SDR video, 5.1 & Dolby Atmos audio, graphics, VR/AR, replay, codecs and more).
  • Good understanding of IT technologies and related challenges (network, virtualization, storage, cloud services, security).
  • Ability to learn and keep up with technical changes in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Capacity to prioritise, excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Self‑motivated team player with a strong customer service orientation and project management appreciation.
  • Working knowledge of health & safety best practice.
  • Fluency in English is a must; additional languages are an asset.

Desired but Not Essential:

  • Candidates with a strong technical background, a drive to learn and aptitude, will be considered.
