Salary: Typical annualised earnings of £32,364 per annum, based on an average rota of 40 hours per week and a rate of £15.56 per hour. Overtime pays £17.89 Monday‑Friday and £20.23 on weekends and bank holidays. During training the pay rate is £12.30 per hour.
About the Role: Stagecoach Group is seeking a Qualified Driver to join our Peterborough depot (351 Lincoln Rd, Peterborough PE1 2PF). You will operate a modern fleet of 60 buses across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire, playing a key part in the community’s daily transport.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the fleet safely, smoothly and with confidence.
- Ensure every passenger has a great journey by providing excellent customer service.
- Welcome passengers, answer questions and help them feel safe and supported.
- Operate flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Hold a valid PCV licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Patient, safe and courteous approach to driving.
- Positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering great customer service.
- Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
