Salary £14.29 per hour Bus Shunter & Presentation Operative Location: Peterborough Depot Pay Rate: £14.29 per hour Hours: Late shifts, any 5 days from 7

  • What you'll be doing
  • Fueling buses as they return to the depot after service.
  • Washing and cleaning the exterior of vehicles to maintain high presentation standards.
  • Safely parking and shunting buses around the depot.
  • Sweeping and cleaning vehicle interiors.
  • Carrying out interior, exterior, engine bay, and under-chassis cleaning of company vehicles.
  • Cleaning depot facilities, including offices, workshops, welfare areas, and other operational spaces.
  • Completing and maintaining accurate records, including fuel records, cleaning schedules, and vehicle information.
  • Carrying out regular checks on cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Following all Stagecoach safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What we're looking for

  • A positive and reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in cleaning, vehicle presentation, facilities, logistics, or a similar operational environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
  • A proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently when required.
  • A good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable.
  • PCV licence holders are encouraged to apply.
