Location: Stagecoach Cambridge Depot, 100 Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0DN.
Shift Pattern: Late shift, 5 days out of 7 (includes weekends).
Are you reliable, hard-working, and looking for a secure job with great benefits? We’re on the lookout for a Shunter/Cleaner to join our Engineering team in Cambridge. If you’re someone who takes pride in doing a job well, can work flexibly, and enjoys working as part of a team – or independently when needed – we want to hear from you!
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing our vehicles for the next day’s service.
- Washing and cleaning the interior and exterior of our fleet to high standards.
- Shunting and safely parking vehicles within depot confines.
- Checking fluid levels and carrying out basic daily checks.
- General premises cleaning and maintaining a tidy working environment.
What you’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- A PCV or HGV licence would be a bonus – or experience driving large vehicles.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the late/night shift rota.
- A strong work ethic and a team-focused attitude.
- Full training will be provided – including the opportunity to gain a PCV licence for the right candidate.
