Business Development Consultant
Our client:
Our client is a specialist search firm helping organisations hire senior talent across public affairs, corporate communications, financial PR, and internal comms in the UK and Europe. Their work spans government relations, policy, regulation, media and crisis comms, M&A, investor relations, ESG, and more, supporting clients ranging from start-ups to global firms.
The Role:
We\’re looking for a commercially driven individual to support and grow the business development function, helping to expand reach across the corporate and public affairs sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market mapping to identify prospective clients and business opportunities.
- Lead targeted outreach to generate leads, supporting contingent recruitment consultants.
- Manage initial client engagement, including scheduling and attending meetings – opportunity to lead calls based on experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with consultants to ensure smooth handover of opportunities and alignment on strategy.
- Play a key role in shaping the BD function as the business scales.
