Job Overview
Team: Consular & Document Practice EMEA (CADP).
Position: US‑qualified attorney (member of a US State Bar) to provide US legal advice in connection with US Consular Services across the region.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients and colleagues on complex Consular case matters including refusal risks, processing trends, and criminal matters.
- Liaise with US Embassies and Consulates and manage allocated client accounts and their active and inactive matters.
- Supervise paralegal staff in record‑keeping and document preparation.
- Review and troubleshoot case strategy, documents submitted by assignees, and drafted documents to ensure legal compliance and quality standards.
- Draft correspondence to clients on complex matters and contribute to the firm’s overall initiative to consistently improve its image internally and externally.
Qualifications
- Member of a US State Bar Association.
- Experience with Business Immigration law.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment, work independently and in a team, and contribute to a positive work environment.
