Provide transport for children or adults, some with complex needs, to school, college or day care.

You will be working part time driving in your local area. The work is every school day for both morning and afternoon runs. On average hours are between 12.5 and 25 hours per week. This can be very rewarding work for the right people.

Overall Purpose of Job

· Transportation of children or adults to school, college or day care centres.

· To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the business operational goals

. Part time Driver Responsibilities

· To drive company supplied vehicles, which includes – cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles (all can be driven on a car licence).

· You must be able to keep the vehicle with you in a safe and convenient location.

· Vehicles and Fuel cards provided (for business use only)

· Keep vehicle clean and tidy at all times.

· Be available both am and pm runs for all school days during Term Time only

· All positions are Permanent and Part Time

Driver Requirements

· Full UK driving license held for over five years

· Good command of the English language

· Over 3 years driving experience required

· You should have a friendly and positive attitude, enjoy working with children and be reliable

· Ability and willingness to drive various types of vehicles.

· Previous experience dealing with people with complex needs or in a caring capacity is desirable but not essential

· Willingness to dual role as a passenger assistant to meet the needs of the business and passengers.

· To be fit enough to pass a Group 2 medical to comply with taxi licensing standards.
