Passenger Assistant Role And Responsibilities

Salary: £560 - £860 per month (route dependent)

Hours: 12.5 to 20 per week (varies by route)

Role Locations: Billinghurst, Horsham, Worthing, Chichester, Haslemere

Your Role

  • Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
  • Work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company
  • Quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend
  • Assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles
  • Be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys

What You Need

  • Pass an enhanced criminal record check as you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • First Aid Training - and willing to undergo advanced specialist medical training
