Following our successful tender win and the finalisation of an exciting new aeromedical flight operations contract, 247 Aviation is expanding its flight operations team. We are actively inviting high-calibre, professional Pilatus PC-12 Direct Entry Captains to join our growing organisation.

247 Aviation provides vital, time-critical aeromedical missions on behalf of healthcare partners, alongside bespoke VIP charter operations. Our team operates at a fast pace in a high-consequence environment where every flight crew member plays an essential, valued role in our collective success and mission integrity.

The Package

  • Salary: £68,250 basic with generous flight pay structure (Realistic OTE: £90,000)
  • Roster: Stable, predictable 4 days on / 4 days off rotation

  • Training: Comprehensive type and operational training provided (subject to Training Fees Agreement)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume command responsibility for the safe, efficient operation, loading, and navigation of the aircraft, placing passenger, clinical team, and crew safety above all else.
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with UK CAA regulations, operational checklists, and the 247 Aviation Operations Manual.
  • Exemplify the highest standards of professional conduct, flight deck discipline, and company representation across all operating bases.
  • Work collaboratively with operations controllers, ground handling agents, and medical teams to deliver punctual, seamless flight services.
  • Participate in scheduled simulator training, line assessments, and operational administration.

Requirements

  • Valid UK CAA-issued Part-FCL ATPL (or CPL with frozen ATPL / completed ATPL theoretical examinations).
  • Valid UK CAA Part-MED Class 1 Medical certificate.
  • Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time.
  • Right to live and work in the UK/Channel Islands, with unrestricted eligibility for international travel.
  • Ability to pass standard airside security vetting, including a criminal record check and 5-year verifiable referencing.
  • Full, clean UK/EU driving licence.
  • Fluent English language proficiency (ICAO Level 5 minimum; Level 6 preferred).
  • 3,500+ hours total flying time, including 1,000+ hours PIC and 500+ hours in multi-pilot operations.
  • Existing Pilatus PC-12 type rating or significant modern turboprop command experience.
  • Prior experience in fixed-wing aeromedical or air ambulance.
