We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for UK-based investment banking professionals experienced in mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, valuation, transaction execution, due diligence, and strategic corporate finance analysis.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on complex M&A scenarios, company and industry analysis, valuation review, deal-process evaluation, and high-quality financial assessment workflows.

Selected professionals will apply their transaction experience to develop and review realistic banking scenarios, assess financial outputs, evaluate strategic alternatives, and translate complex deal information into clear, commercially grounded conclusions.

Key Responsibilities

  • M&A Transaction Analysis
  • Analyze complex merger, acquisition, divestiture, and strategic transaction scenarios
  • Evaluate transaction rationale, deal structure, process considerations, and potential execution risks
  • Assess strategic buyers, financial sponsors, public companies, and other transaction counterparties
  • Review proposed recommendations for commercial logic, analytical quality, and alignment with transaction objectives
  • Financial Modeling & Valuation
  • Build, review, and interpret financial models used in M&A and corporate finance workflows
  • Evaluate discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transaction, and other valuation analyses
  • Review assumptions involving revenue growth, margins, capital structure, synergies, and transaction financing
  • Identify inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, and sensitivities that may materially affect valuation conclusions
  • Due Diligence & Deal Execution
  • Review financial statements, company materials, industry research, and transaction documentation
  • Assess due diligence findings and identify key commercial, financial, and execution considerations
  • Evaluate deal-process materials, transaction timelines, bidder dynamics, and decision points
  • Support the development and review of realistic transaction-execution scenarios
  • Banking Materials & Strategic Communication
  • Create and evaluate pitch books, company profiles, valuation summaries, and transaction materials
