Key Responsibilities
- COBOL Engineering Task Creation & Documentation
- Create structured software engineering tasks involving COBOL, legacy system logic, debugging scenarios, code comprehension, or technical problem-solving.
- Document engineering workflows, implementation approaches, code reasoning, and expected solution paths clearly.
- Translate real-world software engineering experience into task-based deliverables, technical examples, and structured evaluation materials.
- Support work involving legacy codebases, enterprise system logic, data processing workflows, procedural programming, or related software engineering topics depending on project needs.
- Technical Review & AI Output Evaluation
- Review and refine AI-generated code, technical explanations, debugging steps, software design suggestions, or COBOL-related engineering outputs.
- Evaluate outputs for correctness, completeness, maintainability, clarity, and alignment with practical software engineering standards.
- Identify inaccurate logic, missing edge cases, weak reasoning, unclear implementation steps, or technically incorrect assumptions.
- Validate content against professional software engineering experience, COBOL knowledge, and real-world development practices.
- Structured Feedback & Quality Control
- Provide clear written feedback explaining engineering reasoning, code behavior, technical tradeoffs, and quality concerns.
- Follow detailed task instructions, review rubrics, quality criteria, and project-specific standards accurately.

Ideal Profile
- At least 5 years of full-time software engineering experience.
