We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for UK-based architects with experience at leading international architecture firms, strong architectural design judgment, and the ability to support structured rubric-based design review and case study evaluation. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured architectural review, design reasoning, case study assessment, rubric-based evaluation, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their architecture expertise to review design materials, evaluate architectural reasoning, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence-based architecture workflow tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Review & Design Evaluation
    • Review architectural scenarios involving design concepts, spatial reasoning, project context, precedent analysis, and design decision-making
    • Evaluate architecture-related outputs against structured rubrics, source materials, project constraints, and professional design standards
    • Support review of architectural case studies, design narratives, project documentation, and built-environment reasoning tasks
    • Identify missing context, weak design logic, unclear assumptions, and expected review outcomes
  • Rubric-Based Assessment & Written Feedback
    • Apply structured evaluation rubrics to architecture-focused tasks with consistency and professional judgment
    • Provide clear written feedback on design reasoning, project interpretation, spatial organization, and architectural quality
    • Support possible architecture case study review beyond the initial task screen
    • Prepare concise, well-structured assessments aligned with project requirements
  • Project-Based Architecture Support
    • Work through short-term remote architecture review workflows requiring accuracy, clarity, and sustained focus
    • Apply experience from high-caliber architecture environments to evaluate design and project materials
    • Support structured review of architectural education, professional experience, design process, and project case materials
    • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and strong professional judgment across submitted work

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years of architecture experience, ideally with exposure to top-tier international architecture firms or highly regarded design studios
  • Experience at firms such as Gensler, Foster + Partners, Herzog & de Meuron, Zaha Hadid Architects, OMA, Snøhetta, or comparable architecture practices
  • Current UK-based location and professional familiarity with UK architecture or international design practice environments
  • Experience connected to London headquarters, NYC offices, or major global studio environments is highly relevant
  • Strong architectural judgment, design reasoning, written communication, and ability to evaluate work using structured criteria
  • Ability to complete short-term project work with precision, clarity, and professional consistency

Educational Background

  • Relevant architecture education is expected
  • A degree in architecture, architectural design, urban design, built environment, design studies, or a related field is helpful
  • Equivalent professional experience in architectural practice, design review, project documentation, or architecture case study work is also highly relevant
