Our client in Amesbury is looking for reliable, safety-conscious C1 Drivers to join their team, with opportunities to make deliveries across the UK.
The Role
Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for safely operating a C1 vehicle and completing deliveries to customers across the UK.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely loading, transporting and delivering goods.
- Operating a C1 vehicle in accordance with all relevant legislation.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Completing deliveries efficiently and professionally.
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as required.
- Following instructions from the Transport Manager and wider team.
About You
We are looking for dependable and professional drivers who take pride in their work.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience driving a C1 vehicle.
- A good understanding of current EU/UK drivers' hours regulations.
- Knowledge of the Working Time Directive.
- A valid Driver CPC.
- A valid Digital Tachograph (Tacho) Card.
- A valid C1 driving licence.
- Valid ADR licence.
You should also be:
- Safety-conscious and responsible.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Flexible and willing to carry out a variety of duties.
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable with a hands-on delivery role.
- Professional and courteous when dealing with customers.
