Driver must be available to do 2-3 nights out per week.

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers on behalf of our client in Bellshill (ML4 3NW).

We require Class 1 HGV Drivers to work on a full week basis. Working out of their RDC, you will be trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK. On some of the deliveries, handball is required. As this is a multicontract site, drivers might be doing different types of work depending on the assignment.

Qualifications and Experience for Class 1 HGV Driver:
  • Minimum 6 months road experience as HGV driver
  • Hold a valid appropriate license
  • No more than 6 points (No DDs, DRs, TTs or INs)
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards

Monday to Friday AM (can include overnights resulting in 6th shift working depending on scheduled deliveries).

2-4 nights out per week, start times between 04:00-06:00.

Class 1 HGV driver PAYE rates are:
  • £16.79 per hour days pay rate
  • £25.19 per hour OT after 9.25 hrs daily
  • Night out rate £30 per night out

Weekly Pay Every Friday.

28 days accrued annual leave per annum (roughly 2.5 days a month).

Online payslips.

On-going assignments.

Recommend a friend bonuses paid.

This position is commutable from: Bothwell, Blantyre, Hamilton, Motherwell, Wishaw, Coatbridge, Bargeddie, Glasgow, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, East Kilbride.
