24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for Transport Administrator on behalf of our client, based in Avonmouth (BS35).
Responsibilities:
- Adhering to Company Health and Safety Policy.
- Data entry.
- Completing transport related paperwork such as filing and scanning.
- Use of Transport Management systems.
- Customer relations and a range of associated administrative duties.
- Answering all queries via email, phone and face to face.
- Debriefing drivers.
- Processing vehicle defects such as call outs and following defect process.
- Generating transport related reports.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a similar role is valuable and you should have a good working knowledge of transport operations.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
- Attention to detail.
- Working to deadlines.
- Solution driven and flexible approach to your work.
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Previous experience in similar role is essential.
