24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting a number of Class 2 HGV drivers for a well-known client based in the Magna Park area of Rugby (CV23). The client is a reputable high-street name dealing with petrol service stations around the UK. They provide a friendly environment for new pass Class 2 HGV drivers to start their career or progress within the business.
Drivers will be doing 5-6 drops per shift with shifts lasting between 8-10 hours. The shift rotation will be 4 on 4 off over a 7-day week, but Monday to Friday positions may also be available. Some positions are available on a temp to perm basis.
Class 2 HGV driver requirements:
- Hold a valid Class 2 / C License
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- Immediate starts available
- Working 5 on 3 off shift pattern including weekends
- Delivering to petrol forecourts around the UK
- Must be presentable in appearance
- Professional manner as customer facing
- Class 2 driver will undergo 2 days training prior to commencing work
- Refrigerated vehicles
- Cages and milk dolly work with tail lift on all vehicles
- 8-10 hour shifts, start time range is between 10:00 and 17:00
- Temp-to-perm position for the right candidate
PAYE rates for Class 2 HGV driver:
- Basic rate £17.31 per hour
- OT 6th shift £25.97 per hour
