Recruitment Services are hiring experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client in Purfleet, Essex. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business offering long-term, ongoing work, modern vehicles, and great pay rates. You will be multi-dropping goods from the RDC to client stores across the UK. A Monday-Friday shift is available to suit your lifestyle, with immediate starts for the right candidates. This is not a light delivery role. You must be comfortable with regular heavy lifting and have previous Class 2 driving experience.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Class 2 / C Licence
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DDs, DRs, TTs, or INs)
- Valid Tacho and CPC cards
- Minimum of 6 months HGV class 2 driving experience
About the role:
- Driving a HGV2 curtain side vehicle, delivering tyres to customers
- Handballing will be involved with multi-drop deliveries (up to 15 drops per day)
- Goods will either be in cages and rolled off or FLT/Pump trucked off
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Shift Pattern and Pay for HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Day shift, starts between 06:00am to 06:30am
- Monday to Friday
- Shift duration: 8-12 hours per day (Minimum of 8 hours paid guaranteed)
- Bank holidays off
- £16.79 per hour
