24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Castle Donington DE74
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for work with a well-established and rapidly growing business in the East Midlands.
HGV Class 1 Driver role will involve:
- Delivering to stores throughout the UK
- Securing loads using straps and bars
- Manual handling
- As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for Store deliveries, trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK.
Available shifts are:
4 on 4 off days
4on 4 off nights
Monday to Friday Days (every other Saturday)
Monday to Friday Nights (every other Saturday)
Tuesday to Saturday Days
Tuesday to Saturday Nights
Sunday to Thursday Days
Sunday to Thursday Nights
Weekends only
HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E licence
- Hold a valid Tacho Card and CPC
- Have no more than 6 points on your licence
- Have no DD, DR, TT or IN endorsements
- Be comfortable with manual handling and securing loads
Assessment: Approximately 3 hours (unpaid)
HGV Class 1 Driver PAYE dynamic rates are:
- Days £19.51 per hour
- Nights £ 21.82 per hour
- OT after 43.75 weekly hours £29.26 per hour
- Saturday £21.84 per hour
- Sunday £22.88 per hour
