HGV Class 1 driver at least 6 months of road experience on Class 1 is a must have. 24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers on behalf of our client for a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, a major retailer based in Kettering.
Our customers require deliveries during the day, shifts are expected to start between 05:00-06:00; shift lengths will be governed by needs, capacity and schedules, meaning that drivers will need to have some flexibility with shift starting and finishing times. Shift lengths do vary, but you are expected to comply with all Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.
HGV Class 1 driver will require:
- Hold a valid Class 1 / C+E License
- Driver will be required to drive class 2 vehicle when/if required
- Assessment to be completed with 2-day induction and training prior to start
HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:
- Working for one of the fastest-growing businesses, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
- Long-term ongoing position
- Immediate start available
- AdHoc and full week shifts are available
Available shift patterns are:
- Monday to Friday
- 5 x drops per shift
HGV Class 1 driver will receive PAYE rates:
- Days £15.22 per hour
