24-7 Recruitment Services are hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client in Livingston. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business offering long-term, ongoing work, modern vehicles, and great pay rates. You will be multi-dropping goods from the RDC to client stores across the UK. You must be comfortable with heavy lifting and have previous Class 1 driving experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Class 1 / CE Licence
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DDs, DRs, TTs, or INs)
  • Valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • Minimum of 1 year HGV class 1 driving experience

About the role:

  • Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle; handballing will be involved with multi-drop deliveries
  • Goods will either be in cages and rolled off or FLT/Pump trucked off
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices

Shift Pattern and Pay for HGV Class 1 driver:

  • Day shift, starts between 04:00am to 06:00am
  • Any 5 of 7 days per week
  • Shift duration: 8-12 hours per day - expected 42.5 hours weekly
  • £16.71 per hour plus £50 per week attendance bonus
