Class 1 HGV Driver – Burton-on-Trent
24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Burton-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay, and ongoing assignments.
Successful candidates will have:
- A full UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
- A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- A minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience (essential)
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The Role:
- Ongoing temporary work with long-term opportunities
- Trunking work only
- 1–2 deliveries and 1 collection per shift
- No manual handling
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
- Regular day and night shifts available
Start Times:
- Days: 05:00 – 13:00
- Nights: 15:00 – 20:00
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday – Day shifts
- Sunday to Thursday – Night shifts
- Weekend shifts available
Pay Rates:
- Monday–Friday Days: £16.87 per hour
- Monday–Friday Nights: £18.10 per hour
- Weekend AM: £21.09 per hour
- Weekend PM: £22.63 per hour
