Slitting Operator – Louth (LN11 Area) Our client, based in the Louth (LN11) area , is a leading European packaging company specialising in flexible and sustainable packaging solutions for some of the world's most respected brands. They are currently recruiting for a Slitting Operator to join their production and warehouse team. As a Slitting Operator , you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of Universal Slitting Machines , ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards. Setting up and running Universal Slitting Machines Ensuring the slitter operates at optimum efficiency , following set procedures and quality standards Removing reels as directed and packaging them in line with customer specifications Ensuring all KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash are achieved on a shift-by-shift basis Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting up to 25kg Previous experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment Comfortable working 12-hour shifts 12-hour shifts ~2 days ,2 nights / 4 days off (Shift patterns may include nights depending on production requirements) 13.03 per hour
