24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 ADR HGV drivers on behalf of our client in Bristol (BS20). We require HGV Class 1 ADR drivers to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC, you will be trunking goods from depot to depot. Your day will generally consist of up to 6-8 drops per day. On some of the deliveries, handball might be required. Holiday cover with a potential to stay ongoing Monday to Friday with the start times between 04:00 - 07:00 daily.

HGV Class 1 ADR driver will require:

  • Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
  • No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
  • Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • ADR licence
  • Minimum 1 year experience on Class 1, preferably doing similar work

Class 1 HGV Drivers work will involve:

  • Working for one of the fastest growing businesses in the South West, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
  • Long term ongoing position
  • Immediate start available

Class 1 HGV Drivers will receive:

  • PAYE rates
  • Day Rate - £21.25
  • OT after 48 Hours weekly - £28.26

Driving assessment:

  • This will take up 8 hours. Driving assessment will commence by taking drug and alcohol test, then followed by theory test and then driving test.

Induction:

  • You will be required to do onsite induction training. Induction training will consist of 'Safe Systems of Work' at your pace and other health and safety related topics, once completed you will have a vehicle familiarisation and a site walk around.

If successful on your assessment, you are required to be available asap as 2 week training follows the assessment.

Pay: £21.25-£28.26 per hour
