24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on behalf of our client in Avonmouth, Severn Beach. We require HGV Class 1 drivers to work on an ongoing basis. This is a unique opportunity to take advantage of working with one of the UK's leading companies. HGV Class 1 drivers will require:
- Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- Must be able to do a mixture of different contracts (store deliveries, trunking/collections)
All drivers must pass assessment prior to starting, and a 3-day induction (induction is paid). This is a long-term ongoing position with immediate start available.
HGV Class 1 drivers can choose a shift pattern:
- Any 5 out of 7
- 4 on 4 off
- 5 on 2 off
- Sunday to Thursday
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Weekends only
- Days (start times between 03:00 – 08:00)
- Nights (start times 17:00 – 21:00)
HGV Class 1 drivers will receive:
- PAYE Dynamic rates
- Weekdays £19 per hour
- Saturday £20 per hour
- Sunday £22 per hour
- OT after 48 hours weekly £22.50
- 8 hours guaranteed per day
