We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our warehouse operation in Daventry. This is an ongoing position with the opportunity to become permanent.
As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, coordinating tasks, and ensuring returned stock is processed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing held orders by scanning and managing returned stock
- Physically moving stock into the returns area and hand lanes
- Recording damaged items with the correct reason codes
- Creating returns manifests
- Labelling freight for dispatch
- Setting up the shift and coordinating daily workloads
- Coordinating tasks for the back-office team
- Supporting the warehouse operation with manual handling and stock movement
- Assisting the wider operation during quieter periods
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong organisational and coordination skills
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Has excellent communication skills and is confident managing emails and liaising with colleagues
- Can prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Has previous experience in a warehouse team leader or supervisory role
- Is happy to undertake manual handling as part of the role
A forklift licence is not required, but this is a hands-on role that involves physically moving stock and supporting the wider warehouse operation when needed.
