24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator on behalf of our client based in Coventry (CV2). The role will include:

  • Briefing and debriefing drivers on arrival
  • Taking phone calls and relaying information to the Transport Managers and Warehouse
  • Downloading drivers' Tachographs and data inputting on Microsoft Excel
  • Printing drivers’ paperwork and preparing risk assessments
  • Scanning paperwork
  • Adhering to Company Health and Safety Policy
  • Data entry
  • Use of Transport Management systems
  • Customer relations and a range of associated administrative duties
  • Answering all queries via email, phone, and face to face
  • Processing vehicle defects such as call outs and following defect process
  • Generating transport related reports

Experience of working in a similar role is valuable and you should have a good working knowledge of transport operations. You must possess:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload

MS packages to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Interviews with the client will be arranged with suitable candidates. Initially, this is a 3-month contract, which will be reviewed at the end of the term.

Available shift for Transport Administrator: Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00. Pay rate: £12.72 per hour.
