24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for Class 2 drivers on behalf of our client for a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, a major retailer based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35 4DF).
Our customers require deliveries during the night; therefore, shifts are expected to start between 22.00-23.30. Manual handling will be required at all collection and delivery points. Shift lengths will be governed by needs, capacity and schedules, meaning that drivers will need to have some flexibility with shift starting and finishing times. Shift lengths do vary, but you are expected to comply with all Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.
Class 2 HGV driver will require:
- Hold valid Class 2 / C License
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- At least 3 months road experience on HGV required!
Class 2 HGV driver work will involve:
- Working for one of the fastest growing businesses, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
- Long term ongoing position
- Immediate start available
AVAILABLE SHIFT PATTERN:
- Start times between 22.00 – 23.30
- Monday to Friday (4 nights to start off with but will go to 5 nights)
- 5 x drops per shift and cage collections
Class 2 HGV driver will receive:
- PAYE dynamic rates: Nights £19.00 per hour, Saturday £20.00 per hour, Sunday £22.00 per hour
